Temporary Settlement

We've decidede to settle down temporarily at Renewal. It's nice to be back in a mandarin church after a few months of english services. Their worship is really good and so full of joy! Pastor talked being obedient and persistant to do what God instructed us.

For my family, God has repeatedly called us out of a church and into another. Renewal is will be the 4th church we've visited since we left MFF, and the third that we'll be settling down for a while until God speaks to us again.

The passage pastor spoke from in 2 Samuel...about Naaman who suffered from leprosy and Elisha asked him to wash in the river of Damascus 7 times in order to be healed. He said nobody knows why God instructed Naaman through Elisha to wash 7 times, nobody knows why Jesus uses mixture of his saliva and mud to heal a blind man's eyes...we cannot always know why God does what He does. All we need to do is to obey Him and blessings and transformtion will follow after.

Just like we do not understand why God keeps bringing us in and out of churches...but we just obey and believe that God has His plans. He knows better than us, and we should know better than to keep trying to reason and rationalise.

GOD's rationals are far beyond what we can often comprehend. He is God, we are merely man...the best we can do is to trust Him wholeheartedly...and this is what He desires of His children too :) He smiles down from heaven when we obey Him like little children...
